A copper alloy sestertius coin of Emperor Nero, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 54-68. The back of the coin depicts a triumphal arch. This coin was minted in AD 54-68.
Obv: Head of Nero, facing right. Obv inscription: ...[C]AESA[R]... . Rev: A triumphal arch with a wreath hung across it, above the Emperor is standing in a quadriga, escorted by Victory and Peace, in a niche in the side of the arch is a statue of Mars. Rev inscription: SC in field.
