Card, valentine card

Handfinished valentine's card comprising two sheets of lace paper by Meek attached to a plain back sheet. The top sheet comprises a cream lace paper border embossed with a floral, vase and fruit design surrounding an applied panel of pink cotton gauze. Applied to the gauze are two coloured paper birds hovering above a paper fruit. Above this decoration is applied a small embossed silver paper fruit basket. The under sheet has the same lace paper and embossed border but surrounds an integral paper panel decorated with an applied paper songsheet entitled 'My Heart's Desire', a garland of coloured paper flowers and two silver paper doves above an arrangement of cotton gauze clouds.
