Card, valentine card
Multi-layered, handfinished valentine's card comprising an under sheet of white lace paper perforated and embossed to form a design incorporating urns, vases, foliage, trees and an archway surrounding a central panel of cotton net. Attached above this sheet are sections and panels of silver and white lace sheet perforated and embossed to form a central open archway of classical pillars, statues and flying cupid figures. In the centre of the inner sheet is applied a handcoloured cut out paper figure of a young girl. This can be seen through the cotton net when the card is closed.
