The Tabernacle, near the City Road. The imprint reads "View of Mrs Whitefields, Tabernacle, near Moorfields". "The Tabernacle was built by George Whitefield in 1752-3 to replace a timber structure of the same name. It stood in Leonard Street (formerly Tabernacle Row), and had accommodation for four thousand worshippers. John Wesley preached a funeral sermon for
Whitefield at the Tabernacle in November 1770.
