Miss Pincott as Almeadia
Theatrical souvenir plate engraved with a portrait of the actress Miss Pincott in the role of Almeadia in the Giant of Palestine. Applied to the portrait is clothing of shaded silk embellished with tinsel ornaments and metal foil jewellery and hair ornaments. The portrait has handcoloured background scenery. Such portraits would have been sold for 1d plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
