The Black Bull
This trade token, worth farthing, was issued for a business at the sign of the Black Bull, at Strand Bridge, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3023 Obv inscription: AT.THE.BLACK.BVLL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = a bull (in field) Rev inscription: AT.STRAND.BRIDG (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = I.H (in field, in Roman capitals).
