Comic valentine's card printed with a handcoloured caricature portrait of a man dressed in finery with an eight line comic and cruel verse below 'Alas, poor man, they suit of plush, Has faily turned thy brain I ween, But if thou art a man, Oh, blush To be a thing so very mean, Oh, Johnny with the turn-up nose, Oh! Johnny of the gundy plush; Oh! Johnny of the spotless hose, I pity thee and for thee blush'.
