Square straight-sided glass bottle with a cylindrical neck. Moulded trade name and product information on two sides: 'HAUTHAWAY'S PEERLESS GLOSS'. The firm of C L Hauthaway & Sons dates back to 1852 and has its headquarters in Massachusetts, USA. This bottle contained one of the shoe- or leather-dressing products that were the firm's speciality.
