Card, valentine card
Handfinished valentines card with a top sheet comprising a lace paper border embossed with handcoloured design incorporating flowers and medallions filled with bows and arrows and floral bouquets. The central area of the top sheet is open revealing decoration applied to the inner sheet. This comprises a panel of pink cotton net gauze decorated with an applied an embossed coloured paper floral garland and a silver embossed paper lyre flanked by two cut out paper images, one of a woman and the other of a man standing on a balcony. The panel is surrounded by a white lace paper border that matches the top sheet and an applied paper scroll printed with a love verse.
