A Peep through the Golden Circle
Handfinished Valentine's card with cream lace paper and embossed border surrounding a plain rectangular panel. A small circle is cut out from the panel and framed by a gilded ring in turn surrounded by an applied embossed paper wreath. Within the cut out area can be seen the word 'Happiness' handwritten on the inner sheet below. On the panel above the decoration is handwritten 'A Peep through the Golden Circle'. Below is an embossed paper sprig of lilac flowers.
