A bone die. Part of a group of grave goods from a wooden 'jewel box', recovered from the Roman cemetery at Mansell Street, London E1.
Roman's throughout the empire enjoyed a variety of dice games such as 'tabula' and 'ludus duodecim scriptorum', both games are similar to modern backgammon.
