Uncoloured theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr Pitt in the role of Dred, The Freeman of the Swamp. Published February 1st 1857 by JK Green and sold by his agent John Redington (Hoxton). Such portraits would have been sold as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
