Jar
A complete large jar in Alice Holt/Farnham ware. It has a band in dark grey slip around the body and over the rim and shoulder. The rim is uneven and badly made.
This vessel held the ashes of a cremation and formed part of a cremation group (CB195). a ceramic bowl (MST87[207]<70>) was used as a lid to this cremation. From the Roman cemetery in Tower Hamlets, London E1.
