Napoleon Buonaparte
Cardboard handcoloured with background scenery showing figures engaged in battle. This card would be used as background for a theatrical portrait of Napoleon, but the portrait has not been pasted onto the card. Produced for sale by Redington and J.King. King was a stationer, with a shop on the Essex road. He collected printed ephemera from his shop, including the components of theatrical portraits, tinsel prints and valentine cards.
