Measure, duck and hen measure
A double measure of the ‘duck and hen’ type with conjoined bowls of 1/2 gill and 1/4 gill capacities. Both bowls have hand-formed ‘spouts’ to assist pouring. There are no marks or inscriptions. Date: probably 19th century. Measures of this type were commonly used for spirits or medicine.
