Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3246; Obv inscription: THOMAS.CROSS.CHANDLR (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Two women scrubbing a man (in field); Rev inscription: IN.TVRNMILL.STREET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.G.C. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
Turnmill Street lay in Clerkenwell, Middlesex; the area is now part of the London Borough of Islington.
