Bronze flanged axehead. Thin wide blade with shoulders and shield pattern with central rib, outline of which merges into the flanges. The flanges are bevelled externally as far as the shoulder. Distinct 'hammer' marks on both faces of blade. Industrial phase: Acton Park. Found in the Thames at Milton, near Gravesend, Kent.
