Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate of Emperor Postumus, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 260-269. The back of the coin depicts a galley. This coin was minted at the principle mint(s) of the Gallic Empire, AD 260-261.
Obv: Draped, cuirassed and radiate bust of Postumus, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP C] POS[TVMVS P F AVG]. Rev: A galley, advancing left, sometimes with a sail and 4-5 rowers and steersman. Rev inscription: [L]AETIT[IA], [AVG] in exergue.
