Coin copy, radiate
A contemporary copy of a radiate (barbarous radiate). The back of the coin depicts Spes, the female personification of hope. This coin was made c. AD 275-285.
Obv: Radiate bust, facing right. Obv inscription: Illegible. Rev: Spes, advancing left, holding a flower in her extended right hand and raising the hem of her dress with the left.. Rev inscription: Illegible.
