Archaeology — Roman; 80-90
Mortar, limestone mortar
Five fragments, (four joining), with two opposing lugs of differing size and a vestigial footring. The lugs are rectangular, but with rounded edges. The top exterior edge of the bowl is tooled down to the level of the lugs. The inside surface is worn smooth from use.
Although from different contexts, the fragments are clearly from the same vessel; the degree of wear suggests that the fragments in the earlier context are intrusive.
