Strap fitting, cavalry harness junction loop
A copper alloy junction loop with a simple loop. One shank survives beneath the end portion, possibly the only one it ever had, as it does not appear to be broken and no other shanks are visible or, indeed, possible. The shank is folded flat obliquely behind the body. There is no trace of inlaid decoration.
