Coin, as
A copper alloy as of Emperor Vespasian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 69-79. The back of the coin depicts Fides, the Roman goddess of trust. This coin was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon, France), AD 69-79.
Obv: Laureate head(?) of Vespasian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG [COS] (III)?. Rev: Fides, standing left, holding a patera (dish) in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: [FIDES PVBLICA], SC in field.
