A copper alloy as of Emperor Trajan, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 98-117. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in AD 98-117.
Obv: Laureate head of Trajan, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP CAES NERVAE OPTIMO AVG] GER DAC [PM TR P COS]... . Rev: Victory, advancing left, holding a palm in her left hand and erecting a military trophy with the right; consisting of a helmet, cuirass and shields. Rev inscription: SPQR OPT[IMO PRINCIPI], SC in exergue.
