Coin, sestertius
A copper alloy sestertius of Faustina the Younger, empress to Marcus Aurelius, AD 161-180. She was the daughter of Emperor Antoninus Pius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 138-161. This coin was minted in AD 157-164.
Obv: Bare-headed bust of Faustina II, facing right. Obv inscription: [FAVST]INA AV[G]... . Rev: An unidentified standing figure. Rev inscription: SC in field.
