Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate of Emperor Tetricus I, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 271-274. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was probably minted in the Gallic Empire, unidentified mint I, AD 271-274.
Obv: Radiate head/bust of Tetricus I, facing right. Obv inscription: ...[TE]TRICVS... . Rev: Victory, standing left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm in the left. Rev inscription: [COMES AVG].
