Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate of Emperor Allectus, ruler of the Romano-British Empire, AD 293-296. The back of the coin depicts Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 293-296.
Obv: Radiate and cuirassed bust of Allectus, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP C ALLECTVS P F AVG.Rev: Pax, standing left, holding an olive branch in her left hand and a transverse sceptre in the right. Rev inscription: PAX AVG.
