Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate of Emperor Claudius II, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 268-270. The back of the coin depicts Felicitas, the female personification of prosperity. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 268-270.
Obv: Radiate head of Claudius II, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP C CLAVDIVS AVG. Rev: Felicitas, standing left, holding a vertical caduceus (a winged staff held by messengers and heralds) in her right hand and a conucopia in the left. Rev inscription: FELICITAS AVG.
