Jug, miniature
Medieval miniature anthropomorphic jug with a moulded bearded face on the neck and applied and incised arms and fingers around the body. Made in Kingston-upon-Thames. Pottery from Kingston was popular in medieval London. The head depicted on this jug wears a crown, suggesting that he is a king, though we do not know which king he is meant to be.
