Jar, cooking pot
Cheam whiteware jar or cooking pot with an everted rim which has a ridge inside where a lid could be rested (lid-seating). There are fingerprints on the body from the manufacturing process. It was found during the construction of the General Post Office building in St Martin-le-Grand in 1824.
