A copper alloy as of Emperor Vespasian, ruler of the Roman Empire AD 69-79. The back of the coin may depict Aequitas, the female personification of fair-dealing. This coin was minted in AD 69-79.
Obv: Laureate head of Vespasian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS… . Rev: Aequitas? standing left, holding scales in her right hand and a long, vertical rod in the left. Rev inscription: [AEQVITAS(?)] AVGVSTI, [SC] in field.
