Coin, as
A copper alloy as of Emperor Nero, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 54-68. The back of the coin depicts Nero as Apollo, the Graeco-Roman god of medicine, healing, music, arts and prophecy. This coin was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon, France), AD 64-68.
Obv: Bare head of Nero, facing right. Obv inscription: NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG... . Rev: Nero, as Apollo, advancing right, holding a lyre. Rev inscription: PONTIF MAX [TR POT] IMP PP, SC in field.
