Shoe
Sole for an adult left foot shoe with a pointed toe and a narrow waist and seat. There is tunnel stitching in the waist area for the attachment of clump (repair) soles. The sole is very worn. A note on the shoe says: 'Shoe sole apparently of 14th or 15th century found in excavations behind Whitecross Street, London EC'
