Coin, as
A copper alloy as of Domitian as Caesar (Crown Prince) under his father, Emperor Vespasian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 69-79. Domitian followed his brother, Emperor Titus, to the throne in AD 81 and ruled until AD 96. The back of the coin possibly depicts Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. This coin was minted in AD 72-81?
Obv: Laureate head of Domitian, facing left. Obv inscription: CAESAR AVG F DOMIT... . Rev: Pax? standing left, holding a branch and a caduceus (a winged staff held by messengers and heralds). Rev inscription: [PAX AVGVSTI], [SC] in field.
