Saxon & Medieval — Late Medieval; 15th century
Handle
Bone carving, possibly a handle, in the form of St George and the dragon. It has been carved in the round. The object has a peg-shaped base. Three longitudinal holes and one central circular hole seem to indicate that the piece may have been fastened onto something else.
