A possible copper alloy as of Commodus. Commodus ruled as co-emperor alongside his father, Marcus Aurelius, AD 177-180. Following his father’s death in AD 180, Commodus became sole ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 180-192. This coin was may have been minted in AD 172-192?
