The Arms of Bristol
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued by the city of Bristol, Gloucestershire.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference Gloucestershire number 12; Obv inscription: A.BRISTOLL.FARTHING (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = C.B / 1662 (initials in Roman capitals with date below, in field); Rev inscription: THE.ARMES.OF.BRISTOLL (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The arms of Bristol showing a ship leaving harbour (in field).
