The Prince of Wales Feathers
Thomas Munden issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business in Chelsea, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1891) reference Middlesex number 27; Obv inscription: Thomas. / Munden / His.Halfe / Peny (in four lines of cursive script, in field); Rev inscription: IN.CHELLSEY.1666 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The Prince of Wales feathers (in field).
