Robert Williams issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in the Wool stable, in Westminster, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3540; Obv inscription: ROBERT.WILLIAMS (around field, in Roman capitals, in field) Device = An equal-armed cross (in field); Rev inscription: IN.THE.WOOLSTABLE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.M.W. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
