The Horse
Edward Baker, and Simon Soul issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for their business in Turnmill Street, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3242; Obv inscription: EDWARD.BAKER.& (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = SIMON / SOVLE (in two lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: IN.TVRNMILL.STREET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A horse with bridle and reins (in field).
