The Three Pigeons
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued for a business at the sign of the Three Pidgeons, in Tothill Street, Westminster.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 3160; Obv inscription: AT.THE.3.PIDGENS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three birds (in field); Rev inscription: IN.TVTTLE.STREETE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = I.I.F. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
