The Three Sugar Loaves

Joseph Spicer issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his busines at the sign of the Three Sugarloaves, in Temple Bar without, Middlesex.

SVGER (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three sugar-loaves (in field); Rev inscription: WITHOVT.TEMPLE.BARR.1666 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
