(triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: SOVTH.AMPTON.BVILDINGS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = MEALE / MAN (in two lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Southampton Buildings lies in Holborn, Middlesex; the area now lies in the the London Borough of Camden.
