The Prince's Arms
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the Princes Arms tavern, in Old Street, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2162; Obv inscription: AT.THE.PRINCES.ARMES (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The Prince of Wales feathers and P.C (initials in Roman capitals on either side of sign, in field); Rev inscription: IN.OLD.STREETE.1648 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.M.L. (triad of initials in Roman capitals).
