John Bustion issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in Newton Street (now High Holborn), Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2067; Obv inscription: IOHN.BVSTION [Boyne spells the surname as EVERTON] (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Full-faced bust of a king (in field); Rev inscription: IN.NEWTON.STREET (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Full-faced bust of a queen (in field).
