The Robin Hood
Raplh Fancott, a woodmonger, issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business on Millbank, Westminster, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1906; Obv inscription: RALPH.FANCOTT.WOOD (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Robin Hood and Little John (in field); Rev inscription: MONGER.ON.YE.MILBANK (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.H.F. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
