Thomas Lucke, a brewer issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business in Mercer Street, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1886; Obv inscription: THOMAS. LVCKE. IN. MERCERS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = 1666 (in field); Rev inscription: STREETE.BREWER.HIS.HALF.PENY (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.M.L. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
