The Feathers
Robert Holmes issued this trade token, worth a half penny, at the Feathers tavern, in Holborn, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1424; Obv inscription: ROB.HOLMES.AT.THE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The Prince of Wales feathers (in field); Rev inscription: FETHARS.IN.HOLBORN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.H (in field, in Roman capitals).
