The Three Tuns

This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued at the sign of the Three Tuns, at Holborn Bridge, Middlesex.

Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1418. Obv inscription: AT.THE.3.TVNS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = Three tuns (in field); Rev inscription: HOLBORNE.BRIDGE.1648 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = T.M.H. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
