The Prince of Wales Feathers
This trade token, worth a farthing, was issued for a business at the sign of the Feathers, in Holborn Bars.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1404; Obv inscription: THE.FETHARES.AT (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The Prince of Wales feathers (in field); Rev inscription: HOLBVRNE.BARRS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = O.F (in field, in Roman capitals).
