Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1365; Obv inscription: WILLIAM.BARRETT.IN.HAND (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A hand (in field); Rev inscription: YARD.IN.HOLBORNE.1668 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field).
Holborn, was formerly part of Middlesex, and now lies within the London Borough of Camden.
